Privacy Policy
No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and nothing is sent to us.
This policy explains how Walkthrough Quote (“the app”), an estimate app for iPhone and iPad, developed by Kevin Fitzgerald, handles information.
Information we collect
None. Walkthrough Quote does not collect, store, sell or share personal information on any server, and it does not include analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking tools of any kind.
Information stored on your iPhone or iPad
To work, the app keeps the following on your iPhone or iPad only:
- Your jobs: each customer’s name and contact details, the job’s address, the lines and prices, notes and terms
- The photos you add, your markup on them, before-and-after photos, your customers’ signatures and the signed PDFs
- Your business details and logo, and your settings: estimate defaults, numbering, paper, currency, PDF color and the jobs filter
- PDFs and backups while they’re being shared or saved. They are written to a temporary folder first and cleared the next time the app opens
It stays in Walkthrough Quote’s own storage on your iPhone or iPad and is never sent to us. There is no account and no iCloud sync. It is removed if you delete the app.
Your customers’ details
The names, phone numbers, emails and addresses you type, or pick with Choose from Contacts, are kept only on your device to put on their quotes. The system contact picker shares only the one person you pick, so Walkthrough Quote can’t see your other contacts and doesn’t ask for access to them.
Camera and photos
Walkthrough Quote uses the camera only when you take a photo of the job or of your logo. Photos from your library come through the system photo picker, which shares only the photos you pick, so Walkthrough Quote can’t see the rest of your library. Photos are made smaller (2000 pixels at most) and kept in the app.
Signatures
Your customer signs on your screen. The signature, the name they type and the date are kept with the job and on the signed PDF, on your device only.
Sharing and backups
A quote leaves your device only when you share it, and it goes only where you send it (Mail, Messages, AirDrop, Files or a printer). A backup is one file with your jobs, photos and signatures, saved where you choose in Files; if you choose iCloud Drive, Apple’s iCloud terms apply to that copy. The app makes no other connections; only the Pro purchase goes through Apple’s App Store.
Purchases
Walkthrough Quote is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your payment details.
Children’s privacy
Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the app ever begins collecting data, this policy will be updated before that happens.
