Privacy Policy
No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and nothing is sent to us.
This policy explains how Pet Sitter Notes (“the app”), a pet sitter sheet and pet records app for iPhone and iPad, developed by Kevin Fitzgerald, handles information.
Information we collect
None. Pet Sitter Notes does not collect, store, sell or share personal information on any server, and it does not include analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking tools of any kind.
Information stored on your device
To work, the app keeps the following on your device only:
- Your pets: names, photos, feeding, routines, habits, health notes, microchip numbers, and medicines with their schedules
- Their records: vaccines, vet visits, weigh-ins, and feeding and care notes
- Your trip dates, your sitter’s name, your vets and contacts, and your house notes
- Your settings: paper size, weight unit and which reminders to send
It stays in Pet Sitter Notes’s own storage on your device and is never sent to us. There’s no iCloud sync in this version. It is removed if you delete the app.
Sheets you send or print
The sitter sheet, the emergency card and the care history are made into a PDF on your device when you tap Send or Print. The PDF goes only where you send it (AirDrop, Messages, Mail, Files or a printer).
Photos
Pet photos come through the system photo picker, so Pet Sitter Notes gets only the photo you pick and can’t see the rest of your photo library.
Reminders
Medicine, vaccine and follow-up reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing about them is sent anywhere. You can turn them off in the app’s Reminders screen, or in your device’s Settings › Notifications.
Backups (Pro)
A backup is a file with your pets, records, photos and notes, saved only where you choose, such as Files or iCloud Drive. Pet Sitter Notes doesn’t upload it anywhere.
Purchases
Pet Sitter Notes is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your payment details.
Children’s privacy
Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the app ever begins collecting data, this policy will be updated before that happens.
