Home Rounds

Privacy Policy

Effective September 29, 2026

The short version: Home Rounds does not collect your data.

No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and nothing is sent to us.

This policy explains how Home Rounds (“the app”), a home maintenance app for iPhone and iPad, developed by Kevin Fitzgerald, handles information.

Information we collect

None. Home Rounds does not collect, store, sell or share personal information on any server, and it does not include analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking tools of any kind.

Information stored on your iPhone or iPad

To work, the app keeps the following on your iPhone or iPad only:

It stays in Home Rounds’ own storage on your device and is never sent to us. Home Rounds doesn’t sync it anywhere; your device’s own backups may include it, as they do for other apps. It is removed if you delete the app.

Photos and the camera

Home Rounds uses the camera only when you tap Take a photo for a receipt or a part’s label, and iOS asks first. Choose a photo uses the system photo picker, which gives the app only the photo you pick, so it never sees the rest of your library. Photos are made smaller and kept with the log entry or part card they belong to, on your device.

Your location and reminders

Home Rounds never looks up your location. You pick the climate and hemisphere, which set the seasons. Reminders are local notifications planned on your device.

The home-history PDF and backups

The home-history PDF and the backup file are made on your device and go only where you share or save them. A backup holds everything in the app, photos included, so keep it somewhere private.

Purchases

Home Rounds is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your payment details.

Children’s privacy

Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the app ever begins collecting data, this policy will be updated before that happens.
