Place one crown in every row, every column and every region (the areas with thick borders). Crowns can’t touch each other, not even corner to corner. Tap a square once to mark it out (×), twice for a crown, and a third time to clear it.

Yes. Each puzzle is checked when it’s made: it has exactly one solution, and it can be solved by logic alone, with no guessing.

Tap Hint and Big Crowns shows the next step and names it, for example “Row 4 has only one open square” or “Region C is confined to column 2, so the rest of that column is out”. Tap Show Me to do the step. If a crown or mark doesn’t match the solution, the hint points it out first.

Every region has thick borders, its own pattern and a letter, so you never need the colors. In Settings, try the High Contrast theme, which uses white squares and stronger patterns.

Yes, on a Mac or an iPad with a keyboard: the arrow keys move, Space cycles a square, C places a crown, X marks a square out, Delete clears it and H shows a hint (press it again to do the step).
