Big Tape Calculator privacy policy
Effective October 2, 2026
Big Tape Calculator is an Android app by Kevin Fitzgerald for Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets. It does not collect your data. There are no ads, no analytics, no accounts and no server of ours. The app has no permission to use the internet at all.
What it keeps on your device
- The calculation on the screen and the memory value
- Your tape of calculations and the labels you give them
- Your settings (theme, contrast, text size, layout, sound and voice options)
This stays in the app's private storage on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it. If you turn on your device's own backup, Android may include it in that backup, which is covered by your device maker's privacy policy.
Permissions
None. The app asks for no Android permissions.
Links that leave the app
The About screen can open this page in your browser, the app's page in the Galaxy Store, or your email app to write to support. Those apps handle anything you do there.
Purchases
Big Tape Calculator is a one-time purchase in the Galaxy Store, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Samsung's privacy notice covers that purchase.
Sharing and selling
Nothing is collected, so nothing is sold or shared.
Children
Big Tape Calculator isn't directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page will show the new date.
