Privacy Policy

Effective September 24, 2026

The short version: Gridlore does not collect your data.

There are no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking. Your progress stays on your device.

This policy explains how Gridlore (“the app”), a word search game for iPhone and iPad developed by Kevin Fitzgerald, handles information. If you have any questions, contact details are at the end.

Information we collect

None. Gridlore does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information on any server we operate. The app does not include analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking tools of any kind, and it does not ask for access to your contacts, location, photos, camera, or microphone.

Information stored on your device

To save your game, Gridlore keeps the following on your device only:

This information is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time from the You tab using Erase Local Progress, or by deleting the app.

Apple Game Center

If you choose to sign in to Game Center, Gridlore sends your scores and achievement progress to Apple so they can appear on leaderboards and in your Game Center profile. Other players may see your Game Center nickname and scores on leaderboards. This is handled entirely by Apple and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive your Apple Account details. Gridlore is fully playable without Game Center, and you can turn it off at any time in your device’s Settings.

In-App Purchases

Premium puzzle packs are sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes all payments; we never see or store your payment information. Gridlore only receives confirmation from Apple of which packs you’ve bought, so it can unlock them. Purchases can be restored on any of your devices with Restore Purchases in the Library tab.

Children’s privacy

Gridlore is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we don’t hold any of your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. Everything Gridlore stores is on your device and under your control. For data held by Apple through Game Center or the App Store, see Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If Gridlore ever begins collecting data, this policy will be updated before that happens.
